A couples intensive is the perfect place to get all the support you need in an efficient way.

Meet Your Therapist
My name is Lauryn Lucido and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #135907) as well as the practice owner of Turning Tides Trauma Therapy. I have specialized training in working with couples and love getting the opportunity to help people actually hear and understand each other.

An intensive is 6 hours of therapy typically broken up in two 3-hour days, usually a Saturday and a Sunday. Depending on availability, you can schedule your intensive for two consecutive Saturdays/Sundays.

Intensives are $2500. Lauryn’s typical couples therapy rate is $375/45 minutes, so an intensive is a discounted rate of about $313/45 minutes. We do not take insurance but we can provide you with a superbill to submit to insurance for potential reimbursement!

Nope! This intensive is just for you and your partner.

Many clients transition from an intensive to weekly couples therapy should they desire more support. Some clients book additional intensives as well!
